It is an innovation & knowledge hub and the leading state in terms of ease of doing business, start-ups and also in sectors like IT/ITES and Electronics, Pharma and Biotech, Healthcare, Aerospace & Defence, Textiles and Apparels, Mines and Minerals, Agriculture & Food Processing etc. With Covid posing many challenges to several nations, India has now become the brightest spot for Investment and Manufacturing across the world. Telangana is on the forefront when it comes to provide opportunities and create value for investors and stakeholders. 

Telangana is one of the world's most investment-friendly destinations. It is very well known destination for IT/ITES, Pharma, Bulk Drug, Bio-Tech, Healthcare, Aerospace & Defence, Start-ups, Engineering and Capital Goods etc.

In IT/ITES, with a worth of over 1.45 Lakh crores exports, a growth rate of 13 per cent, Telangana is the most happening state. Through TS-iPASS, a revolutionary Act for speedy processing of applications to setup industries, Telangana received more than Rs 2.18 lakh crore investments in the past six years provided employment to over 15.80 lakh persons. Hyderabad is also the Pharma hub, bulk drug and vaccine capital of the country. In the Aerospace & Defence sector, Telangana is home of several research organizations and large scale private industries and more than 1,000 MSMEs operate from the city in Defence sector and does exports to foreign nations. Besides this, there are several sector specific industrial parks and incubations centres for start-ups. It has recently launched policies on Electric Vehicles, Food Processing and Logistics and also focussing on Toys industries in Telangana.

· To create a platform for getting the visionaries & thought leaders across the world to catalyse the growth and innovation.

In this context, CII in partnership with Government of Telangana, is organizing the second edition of MAKE IN TELANGANA, a conference with the theme “Business & Investment Opportunities in Telangana” scheduled between 26 - 27 Nov 2021 at ITC Kakatiya and also a virtual exhibition scheduled between 26 Nov – 25 Dec 2021. The objective of this initiative is to explore investment opportunities and new partnerships. The conference would bring entrepreneurs and senior level executives from several industrial sectors across the nation. The virtual exhibition would provide a platform to showcase opportunities & strengths of the state, products & services of the Industries of Telangana and enable B2B and B2G interactions.
