ABOUT EVENT

One of the most ambitious programmes announced by the Government of India in recent times is Jal Jeevan Mission with an estimated outlay of Rs. 3.6 lakh crore to provide piped water supply to every rural household by 2024. We, in CII, firmly believe that like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the Jal Jeevan Mission will positively impact and change the lives of millions of people in rural India who do not have access to clean and drinkable water.

Against this backdrop, CII is organizing a National Conference on Jal Jeevan Mission with the broad objective of exploring partnership opportunities for industry in Jal Jeevan Mission. The Conference will be joined by Industry leaders from Water Sector (Technology and Water Solution Providers), Supplier Industry including Pipe and Faucets Industry, consultants and experts from across India.

In addition to Inaugural Session, the Conference will feature the following two plenaries :

• Session on “Jal Jeevan Mission : Scope and Opportunities for Industry Partnership”,    
• Session on “Sustainable Water Management : Public-Private-Community Partnership”.
