Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organizing the 9th edition of the “Big Picture Summit 2020” on Virtual Platform with the theme “Big to BIGGER: Creativity, Technology & Innovation - Reshaping Consumer Experience”. The summit will discuss the global trends and opportunities, macroeconomic turbulences leading to softening revenues, understanding domestic consumer preferences, growing focus on local opportunities for global audience. Digital platforms are proliferating and there are tremendous opportunities that never existed before – especially for creative Industry, storytellers and technology providers.
Media and Entertainment (M&E) industry is undergoing a rapid transformation with the growth of broadband, mobile technologies, and digital media, all converging together to enable enhanced experience for the end-user and contributing significantly to the creative economy. M&E is the key champion sector identified by the Government of India for its exponential growth within and outside the country.
CII has been driving several initiatives to promote growth and development of India’s media and entertainment sector and to scale the Indian M&E sector to new heights and expand its global footprint in close collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce.
The Big Picture Summit is the Flagship Summit and leadership forum of M&E Industry and brings together M&E stakeholders from the Indian Government Industry as well as Internationally renowned experts on one platform to navigate a successful growth path at a time when digital transformation, the convergence of technology and artificial intelligence are changing the rules of the game.
CII is organising the CII Big Picture Summit scheduled from 16 – 18 December 2020 over Digital Platform with a range of sessions that will include participation from content creators, broadcasters, buyers, studios, production companies, publishers, distributors and developers across the gamut of the Media & Entertainment landscape
Union Ministers, regulators and policymakers, industry stalwarts, academia and civil society will come together in this years' Summit including global and regional leaders from Fox Star, Tata Sky, Reliance, RTL Group, Comcast, Discovery, Time Warner, Sony, and many more. The last conference also saw the participation of eminent Hollywood personalities.
